This cartoon I did a while back. It's a "logo" for a fictional company called Big Ear Information Systems, a for-hire eavesdropping service for people too busy to personally collect their own nieghborhood and workplace gossip.
These pics were taken in Chicago, just north of Roosevelt Rd. on Clark, April 2005. The place looks different now, with a lot of construction going on. In B&W, the place reminds me of the landscape I'd see in some of those 1950s & 60s Italian movies I'd see a lot when I was a kid (on a B&W TV)
