That's odd -- thought I posted this at 3am... Oh well, here's Friday's post:
Why is it that in real life, strange and weird kids are treated with derision and avoided by the "regular" kids, but you put such a person as the main character in a movie (who is now heroically battling conformity), and everybody "identifies" and roots for the character?****
