Miserocracy

As victimhood becomes the chief road to success, people will be judged by their Misery Cred. Status, respect, and opportunity will be apportioned according to the perceived psychological burdens placed on one by the larger society, church, family, second-grade teacher, culture (as it relates to the "dominant" culture)... well basically anything you can blame somebody else for. Of course the more odious one's burdens, the greater one's Misery Cred and Moral Superiority Index, so people will not accentuate their successes (at least not the old definition of success) or superior abilities, but instead project a facade of helpless despair. Of course, some won't even be good at that... ****
