Was just reading some local news about a fellow who was appointed to a prominent public position. It was mentioned that the guy was dedicated to getting THE JOB DONE (or something to that affect) - hey that's groovie -- it also mentiioned the job paid $220,000 a year. I wondered: "Are people in these positions somewhat less dedicated if they are only making, let's say, $205,ooo a year?"
Of course, if the positions only paid $100,000, you probably couldn't find a single person to do the job.
