Gossamer Chains

Some silly writing I found scribbled in my note book evolved into this little diversion:
Above is pictured one Leland Braithwaite, the self described "unwritten playwright" (for he would not destroy the delicate gossamer of dreams by binding them in the chains of reality -- at least that's how he explains his lack of production...). On occassion at social gatherings, he will quote passages from his unwritten opus, Brunch With The Philistines, such as this scene where the hero Pompodorus crashes the wedding dinner of his former friend Boffonto, and addresses the enraged guests:
"...Have we gathered here to break bread or skulls?? -- I beg you - do not find that unworthy destiny!! Extinguish the fire in your blood and do not provoke the face-pounding of the Gods!! Let the words of peace flow like sweet chocolate syrup over vanilla icecream..."
Hmmm. Well. OK then...
