Seems to me, garbage just isn't what it used to be. There was a time you could walk into any alley find some real grunge - but it's not so easy anymore, with these new-fangled receptacles and plastic bags, refuse looks so much more neat, antisceptic, and lacking real character. Yes, in the mad rush of progress, we never realize what we've lost, until we can't smell it anymore...
