Prevarication Illustrated
This was inspired by Leland Ridgeway's classic fable, The Litte Androautomaton That Wanted To Be A Boy (first published in the Fall 1894 issue of Ophioglossum's Quarterly)

Crayons And Goose Eggs
Felt like messin' around with some soft crayons and oil pastels, and this is what I came up with:
This is Milton, and he's walking in the park during his lunch break, and grumbling that he hasn't been laid-off from the job he hates. He knows that unless he actually gets fired, his mother will keep making him get out of bed and go to work(at 57 years of age, he still lives in the basement of his parent's house). Actually, Milton has been quite bitter since Febuary 1974, when the soap Secret Storm was cancelled; He always felt it had the best title of all the soap operas, and of course, he had his own....Secret Storm...****

Olympian Feet
How about a courier company named after the messenger of the Greek Gods? Of course, aside from being messenger of the gods, Hermes was also the God of Thieves, so why not have this courier company actually be some kind of sleazy international criminal organization? This is a logo I came up with:

Domestic Monster
Haven't seen Frankenstein around here in a while -- let's see what he's up to...
According to the latest legends, The Monster had moved in with Mimzi, his "domestic partner". In this scene, what had started as a semi-humorous philosophical discussion about "Hear no Evil, see no Evil, speak no Evil" ( Frankenstein had suggested that they should at least add "smell", and better yet, also "feel, taste and extra-sensory perceive" to the list) had, after a little too much "...wine...goooood..." , degenerated into a shouting match about the Monster's collection of Andy Williams records taking up too much space in the living room.****
Was downtown earlier than usual on Wednesday.
Ran into apparent good samaritan Bernie Superfine (of themonkeygallery.com), who was kind enough to inform me that my shoelace was untied. The observation proved to be somewhat inaccurate; "April Fools" was cited as the socially acceptible explaination for this minor prevarication.

Hog Wild
OK, this is just off the top of my head here, but wouldn't it be great if there was a TV series about a guy with a big pig head who rides around the country on his motorcycle (a "hog" of course) and used his bazooka to help people out of their jams? It could be called Pig's LAW or something...****
