Did you know that "Zooft!" (meaning: Whoa, Dude! It's Over!!) was a popular catch-phrase for a short period of time during the early 1970s? It came about when teeny-bopper heart throb Will Krispy, in what was inteneded as a very special episode of the sitcom Those Flanagans! (where he played Tina's boyfriend, Brad), stepped onto a malfunctioning lighted dancefloor, and was electrocuted, accompanied by a very audible "Zooft!" sound. Aside from "Zooft!" jokes involving "...fried to a Krisp" were also quite popular among the insensitive of the time.****
