Continuum of Weird

What have we here?

Well, it turns out that in the early 1980s, there was an obscure Avant-garde Geek Rock band known (or unknown, as the case may be) as The Sadly Eaten Monkey. During one of their bizarre concerts, the extreme weirdness literally caused a rip in the space-time continuum, transporting the the band to the year 1929! Unable to replicate the conditions of their first leap in time, they found that they would have to survive in depression era America. As luck would have it, they became acquainted with Z grade movie producer and former funeral barker Cal Roach (Hal's forgotten cousin), and together they filmed a series of insane comedy shorts so weird that, yes, once more the band was catapulted through a rip in the space-time continuum; though this time, nobody knows where or when the band landed.

On occasion, in the wee hours of the morning, local TV stations will broadcast these peculiar shorts -- The funny thing is that there is a strange effect produced by these films, wherein the viewer is left with no recollection of ever having seen any of them!

Rather strange indeed!
