Just finished this one two minutes ago -- In the middle of a household project, and thought I'd take a break for this doodle.

I figure even a Dweeb Dad (it happens!) tries to give his kid insights into what it means to be a man. I figure in this case it would be some kind of "rites of passage" type thing along the lines of: " When a female friend, who you weren't even attracted to, tells you to not even think about being anything more than just friends, then my son, you have become a Geek MAN"

This doodle made me think of one of those 50s/60s SF adventure movies where some astronauts land on a planet totally populated by women and are ruled by a cruel queen.

Mr. Crab Apple

Just started drawing an apple (or is it a cherry??), then put a face on it, and then stuck spidery legs on it. Figured he should be a rather self-conscious little mutant. I was thinking "spider apple", and then thought "hmmm -- crab apple -- there really are such things..."

Robot Freak

To prevent mass electro-psychosis in the future robot society, there will be the need to create robot freaks. Being "freaks", these unfortunate automatons will deviate from the majority of robots in form and action, thus defining what is "normal". So, this norm being established, regular robots can be satisfied that instead of being part of an undefined mass, they automatically belong the "normal" group.
